From Charlene to Amalia!
Now that the sun is out in full force, we don’t go out without SPF or without sunglasses. Are you by any chance still looking for a set of new shades? We’ve collected some royal sunglasses inspiration for you!
Charlene
It will come as no surprise that the sunnies worn by Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene are always designer gems. She has several pairs by Dior and Prada, and brands such as Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo and Miu Miu are indispensable in her glasses case. However, she has a clear favourite at the moment:
She has already brought out this copy of Louis Vuitton three times in recent months. This concerns the so-called ‘Casino’ sunglasses, which no longer appear to be available anywhere. Well, this way an airy look remains nice and exclusive.
Maxima
Our own Queen Máxima also has an impressive set of designer names to choose from when it comes to sunglasses. From Chloé to Gucci and from Prada to Salvatore Ferragamo: our majesty has taste!
However, one label in particular is a favourite: Máx has no less than six glasses by Tom Ford at her disposal. From Grand Prix to work visits and from home to abroad: a Tom Ford pair regularly makes an appearance in the royal handbag.
Kate
Although Princess Catherine is not seen in public much at the moment, we hope that she can still enjoy the sun. In recent years we have regularly seen the Princess of Wales with her face in the sun, and stylish sunglasses are of course a must.
By the way, Kate regularly proves with her sunglasses that you don’t have to be very wealthy to dress with regal flair. For example, she regularly opts for sunglasses from Ray-Ban. The classic Wayfarer model in particular has won Kate’s heart, although she now owns several different models from the brand.
Amalia
Our own Princess of Orange has not been in the spotlight much in recent years. But during the tour of the Caribbean islands we saw that Amalia was crazy about one pair of sunglasses in particular:
This Chimi model is a hip, oversized plastic model that will make you look fashionable. Not only did she wear this model almost every day during the Caribbean tour, but during the Grand Prix of Zandvoort last year, these glasses made another appearance. We can’t blame Amalia!
