Do these activities for cardio that you used to do while playing outside

How many hours did you jump rope and hula hoop as a small child? These fun activities are a great replacement for your cardio. Read here what it does to your body when you start playing outside again.

Hula hooping

You probably don’t think so, but hula hooping is a perfect exercise for your workout. We are not talking about a normal hula hoop, but the fitness hula hoop. This hula hoop is filled with weights and provides the best abdominal muscles. There are also hula hoops on the market with massage buttons on the inside. These massage buttons stimulate blood circulation and massage the skin and connective tissue. Build it up slowly, because these buttons cause bruises for some people. When do you see results? That of course depends on several things, but if you hula hoop for twenty minutes every day, you will see the effect after about a month. First hula hoop counterclockwise for ten minutes and then clockwise for ten minutes. Turn on some music or a series and start hula hooping!

Jump rope

Why do you think Rocky and all the other boxers are always jumping rope? Because it is a very good exercise! How many calories you burn naturally depends on your age, weight and height, but on average you burn about ten calories per minute. That’s 100 calories in ten minutes. Wow! It is not only good for your fitness, but it is also great fun to do. Do the coolest tricks and relax in the sun or of course indoors in the rainy Dutch weather. This full body workout is perfect for you.

Roller skating

Skating or inline skating is healthy, you exercise and you are in the outdoors. Skating makes you fit, loses weight and builds muscle mass very quickly. With a round of relaxed skating you burn a lot of calories and build muscle mass. During an hour of skating you burn an average of 600 calories. Are you jealous of Jutta Leerdam’s buttocks? Skating also creates such beautiful buttocks and legs. Highly recommended to start this spring. Are you being careful? Also don’t forget to wear protection and start slowly.

Climbing and scrambling

We used to spend hours on the jungle gym. You too? Enjoy climbing and hanging on the bars. You’ll be surprised how hard that is. Visiting the playground nearby is of course an option, but we recommend a climbing gym. This underrated sport is worth a try. Climbing for an hour with friends is not only fun, but also good for your health. With climbing you not only train all your muscles, but also your coordination and problem-solving skills. Give it a try and don’t be afraid that it is too difficult, you can do this too.
