The former teen heartthrob gives an insight into his private personality to Mirror. He has a pretty turbulent lifestyle behind him – but now he thinks completely differently. As soon as the cameras aren’t rolling, he likes to leave “AJ, the Backstreet Boy” aside. “You have to be your true, authentic self. And that’s what I’m dealing with in my personal life today: AJ “I’m a Backstreet Boy, cool,” he explains. However, that’s not what defines him. “Alexander is what I am, what I was born as,” the global star continues.
In general, the 45-year-old now seems to be more concerned with himself. After completing the tour, he entered therapy to live a better life. That was also the reason why he wanted to see his father again after 42 years, as he revealed to Page Six.
