Putting lipstick on your lips is no surprise, but is it also useful for other areas on your face? We put it in a row
Lipstick as eye shadow
Cream eye shadow is back in style: because it does not have a powdery appearance, it gives a natural look. A cream eye shadow lasts much better and longer than powder eye shadow. If you don’t have a cream eye shadow, you can also use lipstick. Apply this to your eyelid in small amounts, making sure that it does not come too close to the eyebrow arch. It is also good to work in layers: one thick layer is very dominant, and to keep it subtle it is better to stack with thin and light layers.
Blush
Blush will also remain in fashion for a long time, but will last longer in the form of cream. And what is that perfect color red or pink? That’s right, the same color as your lipstick. A few licks on the cheeks and it looks like you’ve had a treatment at the beautician. But be careful: here too it is better to work in layers, and apply it very well to the skin: too much product on one part of the cheeks and you have a look that Bassie would be jealous of.
Anti-puffiness
Even your bags under your eyes benefit from lipstick. This is how it works: lipstick corrects, conceals or enhances one color by applying another. You can hide green and bruises well with a red color. It works, as it were, as a color corrector. But make sure that you don’t just use the lipstick, but that you also apply a foundation, concealer or BB cream over it, so that you don’t end up with red spots under your eyes.
Highlighter
With a little lipstick you can highlight parts of the face. This makes your face appear even fresher. That sounds crazy when you think of red lipstick, but we mean by using transparent and shiny lip gloss. Apply the lip gloss in thin layers, for example on the eyebrow arch just below the eyebrow itself. You will also be able to use it on the inside of your eyes and on the cheekbones to look extra clean. In addition, lip gloss works as a very good glue for powder highlighter. In this case, spread a thin layer on the parts of the face where you want to apply the highlighter, and gently dab the highlighter on top.
