The queen has been a fan of this brand for years.
Winter sports are of course about fun, but let’s be honest: we want to go down the slopes in a somewhat fashionable way. Máxima has done it more than once, so we share where the queen always shops for her ski clothes.
Skiing holiday
The Oranjes traditionally go on a winter sports holiday to the Austrian Lech every year during the spring holidays. In previous years this was always accompanied by a photo session, but that has now changed. The royal family recently indicated that they only want to be photographed with the entire family. And with three daughters who are all over the world, that of course becomes difficult. We have not received any glamorous piste snaps since 2020.
This year too, there is a good chance that the photo session will be cancelled. Ariane is of course in Italy, and although she would be somewhat nearby, we suspect that the princess will not be present for the ski holiday. For us, that means no insight into the royal snow fun. Too bad, but fortunately we have been through enough photo sessions to know where our Máx likes to shop for her ski clothing.
In style from the slopes
Our queen is very sustainable when it comes to clothing. She loves recycling and is happy to wear the same dress or jewelry twice. On a skiing holiday, she has also been spotted wearing a ten-year-old suit and the ski clothes of the three A’s were simply passed on. In 2019 and 2020, Máx also wore the same beautiful burgundy red ski suit without any problems. And why not? A ski outfit is certainly not worn out after a week of skiing. Still, we’re guessing that she has picked out a new one for this year.
We know that Máxima always looks stylish, and that is no different in the snow. She always zooms off the slopes in style. And her majesty prefers to shop for all those beautiful ski outfits at the Dutch brand Goldbergh.

Goldbergh
The Queen has been a loyal customer of Goldbergh for years. She shopped there for the burgundy jumpsuit-ski suit that Máxima wore in Lech in 2019 and 2020, and the bright red suit from 2014 is also from their collection. There is a good chance that she will also choose an eye-catcher from Goldbergh this year. Unfortunately, curious photographers are probably not welcome on the slopes this year, so there is little chance that we will see it. We are therefore counting down to next year!
