See: the Chanel SS24 show during Paris Fashion Week

Soft shades, light colors and flowing fabrics.

Paris Fashion Week is in full swing. Yesterday’s highlight was the Chanel SS24 show at the chic Palais Éphémère. We’ll take you with us.

Dancer avec Chanel

For this spring collection, Creative Director Virginie Viard was inspired by the world of ballet and dance – and by the iconic buttons that we often see on Chanel items.

She herself states that dance is very important to Chanel. “The House is close to its organizations, to its choreographers and dancer, and we make costumes for the ballet. I have tried to bring together the strength and finesse of bodies and clothing in a very ethereal collection, consisting of tulle, ruffles, pleats, and lace.”

The result? A sweet, romantic collection, with many shades of pink and white, that beckons you as much as the prospect of spring.

Would you rather choose your favorite look yourself? Fortunately, you can watch the entire show again.

TheButton

You will notice that the collection has been given a special name. Under the title The Button (or: The Button), attention is paid to the graceful buttons that every fashion girl recognizes from Chanel’s iconic tweed jackets. A short film starring Chanel ambassador Margaret Qualley was also debuted prior to the show.

When she discovers that her beloved Chanel jacket is suddenly missing a button, she is led by a mysterious force to the legendary 31 rue Cambon. Or yes – mysterious power? She is given a helping hand by none other than Naomi Campbell. Sweet detail: if you look closely at the photos above, you will also spot how it turned out with that jacket of Margaret, who opened the show.

With or without buttons – we are fans of this new collection either way!
