Since this week, fans of Big Brother have been watching the TV, tablet, laptop or telephone again every week 24/7. The new season has started and as usual we can also watch all day long via live streams on Videoland. The first episode was broadcast on RTL5 on Monday evening. Here we meet the first residents of Big Brother 2024. Ronahi, Dilano, Alice, Karen, Tyron, Danny, Ashley, Ariana, Tom, Sonja, Randy and Lenie enter the house first. Although: Ronahi and Dilano are not currently in the real house, but in a new, second house: the mirror room. They receive secret missions from there and can also keep an eye on all residents, including Lenie. You may recognize him as a TV viewer, because he appears to be no stranger to TV. No, Lenie was previously in another TV program!
Who is Lenie?
First of all, a quick word about Lenie, who was 52 years old at the time of his introduction and therefore one of the older residents. Lenie lives in a caravan camp in Arnhem with his wife Brigitte, whom you may also recognize. He participated in another TV program with her, so you know him from. He previously participated in the RTL5 reality program Bij Ons Op Het Kamp. He is also a famous folk singer from the east. He scores quite a few hits on YouTube, which means he regularly performs at parties or other parties in the Arnhem region.
There is a good chance that Lenie will occasionally sing during his participation. Due to his participation, his wife may have to miss him for a long time. Although she finds it very fun and exciting for her husband. And she probably doesn’t miss it too much: “I see it on screen.”
Duos in Big Brother
By the way, Lenie does not compete individually in Big Brother. As mentioned earlier, this season of Big Brother consists of a few plot twists. So there is a secret room and they also play in duos. What? In the first episode the duos are immediately formed, with the well-known Lenie forming a duo with Randy. They are team yellow. Then you have Sonja and Tom (team pink), Ashley and Ariana (team blue), Tyron and Danny (team green) and Alice and Karen (team orange). Resident Basiri is the only one without a duo partner, but can therefore nominate one couple later in the week. Interesting!
