‘There we stood afterwards, all the ladies and I hugging each other’
Unfortunately, the last regular episode of The Real Housewives of Amsterdam was released on Videoland today. But don’t worry, because we can still look forward to the reunion! Carlo Boszhard once again has the honor of presenting this episode. In his column for Televizier he gives a glimpse of what we can expect.
The Real Housewives of Amsterdam
We thoroughly enjoyed the second season of The Real Housewives of Amsterdam. Newcomer Tamara immediately caused a lot of drama and arguments, and has become an indispensable part of the series. But besides a lot of drama, we also saw the more personal side of several housewives this season. For example, Kimmylien candidly shared that she had doubts about quitting her company and Hella also showed her vulnerable side. Unfortunately, the adventures of all the ladies now come to an end, but not without a good ending.
Reunion
Of course, the season can’t end without a juicy reunion episode. Presenter Carlo Boszhard has the honor of leading this episode, just like last year. “The first reunion of The Real Housewives of Amsterdam was chaotic,” he reflects in his column. “How do you make more than four hours of drama even remotely understandable if more than half of it has to be edited out?” the presenter explains. “But the second season of the great success on Videoland felt different.”
Relevant things
“So I started presenting a new reunion with good courage. Such a closure may be a problem with such a program, but it must also connect,” says Carlo. “And there we stood afterwards, all the ladies and I hugging each other. So many tears had been shed by now,” the presenter reveals. “No, it wasn’t about a stain in a Gucci bag, but about the really relevant things in life.”
We can’t wait any longer! Next week the reunion of The Real Housewives of Amsterdam will be released on Videoland on Thursday, January 11, where all the ladies will be joining us. Put it in the agenda!
