Great sadness for Cem Kilic. The athlete was born in Neustadt in 1994. At the age of 19, he moved to the USA to pursue his boxing career – with success. In 2019, for example, he was in the ring against megastar Tyson Fury (35). However, he ended his active career in August of last year. Not much has been heard from him since then. Now it is known: Cem is dead.
Eyup Gozgec, the president of the Turkish Boxing Association, announced on Friday: “We have learned the news of the death of one of our former national boxers. We wish patience to the grieving relatives. Rest in peace.” Cems Former manager Shane Shapiro also wrote on Facebook: “I’m in shock. Rest in peace Cem Kilicthe first fighter who gave me a chance, someone who moved from Germany to Los Angeles, lived with me for seven years and was part of my family.” What Cem died is not yet known. He was only 29 years old.
Five days ago had Cem shared another post on Instagram. He posted a photo of himself casually posing in front of high-rise buildings in Chicago. He wrote out a passage about this Samras Song “Shock Freeze”. Had the same photo Cem already published in October 2022.
