He cares about his son! Philipp Plein (45) became a father for the third time in October 2023. Together with his girlfriend Lucia Bartoli he was able to welcome a little boy into the world. This is the designer and his loved one’s second child together. Now, however, an unpleasant incident overshadows the family’s contemplative holidays. Philipp’s two-month-old son Rouge is in the hospital over Christmas!
The fashion designer publishes a heartbreaking video on Instagram. In this one he shows his baby connected to tubes and coughing. “I have no words left and no tears left in me after so many days of pain and struggle. Our little family was torn apart on Christmas when we dropped off our little baby Rouge in the intensive care unit of the hospital,” writes Philip adding, “His condition became serious after he, along with his brother Rocket, tested positive for the RS virus two days earlier!”
While the father looks after his two sons Romeo and Rocket, his girlfriend remains Lucia with little Rouge in the hospital. “She doesn’t leave him alone for even a minute. When he’s awake and feeling unwell, she sings to him and holds his little hands!” says Philip and notes: “Rouge shouldn’t experience so much pain, suffering and stress so early on.”
