A star for the star! Zac Efron (36) looks back on a successful career. Starting out as a teenage heartthrob thanks to his role in “High School Musical”, he is now one of the most successful personalities in Hollywood. During his career he has already played with stars such as Nicole Kidman (56), John Travolta (69) and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (51). Now the actor is receiving a very special honor for his talent: Zac has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
During the ceremony on Monday, the “The Iron Claw” star thanked the producers of his first film for their trust. Film colleague Miles Teller (36) was also happy about his friend’s honor and said: “He more than deserves this award, because it was and is for our generation Zac the first real actor to emerge from our class. You are the man, the myth, the legend, that is Zac EfronInfant!”
The Californian also thanks his “17 Again” co-star Matthew Perry (✝54), who died in October. “Working with him […] “It was so much fun and drove and motivated me in so many ways,” he recalls, adding: “It really catapulted me into the next chapter of my career and I thank you very much for that, Matthew. I’m thinking about you a lot today.”
