Malou Lovis Kreyelkamp is speechless! The Cologne native competed in the grand finale of The Voice of Germany Emily Myles, Egon Herrnleben, Joy Esquivias and Desirey Sarpong Agyemang can be enforced – clearly. 28.62 percent of viewers called for the student. A few minutes after the showdown Malou still in the process of realizing their victory. How does she feel?
“I can’t believe it. I don’t know, it’s crazy,” the 24-year-old told Promiflash shortly after the decision. Her winning song “Glacier Rivers” is a very personal one – among other things, she addresses her coming out in it. “It’s completely different than winning with a cover, because at the end of the day as an artist you want to put out your own stuff and publish it. That’s why it’s really awesome and beautiful in a way,” says the North Rhine-Westphalian.
With her victory she had Malou at the beginning of filming in May: “Never – I wouldn’t have thought that with a single thought,” the 24-year-old marvels. Even later she didn’t see it coming.
