Christmas cards, Christmas masses, and Christmas photos!
We are moving very steadily towards the end of the year, and that means it is time to decorate the Christmas tree, sing songs together, spend time together with your loved ones, and take nice family photos. The Windsors showed this last weekend with the festive Together at Christmas event led by Princess Kate!
Christmas
For the third year in a row, Kate hosted ‘her’ Together at Christmas service this year. A musical affair with all kinds of well-known artists featured, where Kate has proven in recent years that she can also play a nice tune herself.
But ultimately it’s about the feeling of coming together and conviviality, and so there were plenty of royals present in Westminster Abbey last weekend! What especially stood out? The younger generations in particular were particularly well represented!
Royal brood
In the announcement of the event, the Waleses already announced that this year’s service was organized in collaboration with the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood. Perhaps the invitations would also have stated that the guests should bring their children. And so it happened!
For example, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall left their husbands at home and went out with Peter’s daughters, Savannah and Isla Phillips.

Princess Beatrice, in turn, brought her husband, Edo Mapelli Mozzi, and stepson Christopher Woolf to the service.
With Christopher on the arm and hubby a few steps behind: it is clear who the spotlight is for!
This time the entire Wales family was also present: after two years without it, son Louis was also allowed to go to the musical event with his big brother and sister. Unlike his Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the cheerful little prince did not initially receive a candle.
This time no crazy pelvis or energy dance moves from the very young prince, but a good young man on a fun evening out with his parents.
Royal fashion festival
Of course, there were also a lot of other Windsors present, and we were amazed at all the royal fashion moments of the evening. Unlike last year, when almost all Windsors showed up very united in the same colors (a small show of unity towards Prince Harry, the experts thought at the time), this year everyone went their own festive way.
Princess Eugenie wore a glittering black manel with a set of matching Aquazzura boots and an Aspinal of London bag.
Sister Beatrice, in turn, was dressed in a beautiful robe manteau from Beulah London, a brand that of course has many royal customers. But if you want to be inspired by the stylish York lady: her Zara heels are a nice budget-proof choice!
Duchess Sophie also went for blue, but opted for a light ensemble with a white ME+EM gown and a custom light blue Suzannah London coat. She combined this with a set of cognac-brown Gianvito Rossi boots and an Isabel Marant bag. A bit business casual to our taste for such a festive event, but we cannot deny that the Duchess of Edinburgh is radiant.
And then of course there is the Princess of Wales herself. After two years in red dresses, Kate opted for a completely different outfit this time: a snow-white combination of white items! UFO No More reports, among other things, that the highness wore a Chris Kerr jacket, with a Kiltane sweater and Holland Cooper trousers. Of course, a set of light Gianvito Rossi’s could not be missing from the outfit, and she even matched her Strathberry bag and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry to the winter white outfit. To pass muster!
(Christmas) stars
In addition to the royals and their offspring, many health experts, toddler teachers, midwives and specialists in the field of young children were also invited to the special evening. They all enjoyed performances by Beverley Knight, Adam Lambert, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings, and James Bay.
Anyway, a very successful evening!
