Spend the night in a horror suite
Are you a fan of horror and haunted houses? Then this hotel in the American state of New Hampshire is perfect for you. You will stay in a castle called Tumbledown Castle. The castle was built and inhabited by the king and queen of Tumbledown. What they did not know is that they had built the castle on land where an insane asylum once stood where terrible things happened. The royal couple started experiencing more and more crazy and scary things. One night they fled the castle and were never seen again. And now you can spend the night in their castle.
This hotel is anything but normal. The hotel room is full of cool effects that will scare you. The room has various screens, sound effects and props that provide unexpected jump scares. Something can be hidden around every corner, so you definitely don’t want to spend the night here alone. The suite has three bedrooms, a kitchen and a luxurious jacuzzi. But don’t expect to be able to relax here your entire stay. The hotel room will be active your entire stay and can therefore scare you at any time. There are new, scary surprises in every room.

The Haunted Castle is of course located in the United States, which is a bit far away. Fortunately, there are also several unique locations in the Netherlands where you can spend the night in a spooky way. For example, the ghost of an eighteen-year-old girl is said to walk around in Hotel Mastbosch in Breda. This hotel is therefore not made to scare you, but there is certainly a spooky atmosphere in the corridors of the hotel. The scariest hotel in the world is said to be located in Ireland. The Shelbourna is known for the fact that paranormal things regularly happen there. For example, the doors slam shut by themselves, the taps turn on by themselves and there is even said to be the apparition of a girl wandering through the corridors.
Unfortunately, we do not have a real horror hotel like the one in New Hampshire in the Netherlands yet. However, various horror experiences will pop up around the month of October. For example, there is the well-known phenomenon Halloween Fright Nights in amusement park Walibi and there are various Halloween parties in Amsterdam in October!
