Youth
Kimberly Bosman was adopted and grew up in ‘t Gooi. Her origins are unknown, but it appears that she has Asian roots. At the age of 31, she had her son Morris from a previous relationship. When he was six months old, they moved to Germany where Morris’ father lived. Not much later the relationship between them broke down. Fortunately, Kimberly found her current boyfriend a year later: Gerrit Verwelius. Gerrit runs the family business in construction.
Things didn’t always go smoothly for Kimberly after the pregnancy. After the birth of her son, she suffered from panic attacks. It seemed that this had to do with the hormonal balance that would be disturbed after pregnancy. This affected her life in a way, so she canceled many social activities and no longer dared to drive a car. For this reason, she chose to move in with her parents with her son. She is now doing better with the help of therapy.
Career
Between 2008 and 2010, Kimberly appeared in the program Echte Gooische Meisjes, then in Echte Gooische Girls on Social Assistance (2009) and since 2020 she has appeared in every season except one in Echte Gooische Moeders. Unfortunately, she had to skip the fourth season due to family circumstances. Both her parents suddenly became ill, so she chose not to appear in the reality series for a season. We will see her again in the new season.
Between 2012 and 2018, Kimberly worked as an office manager at event management company ALDA Events. In 2019 she set up her own beauty salon in Laren, called The Salon Laren, where she mainly focuses on facial treatments.
Due to her rising fame since the Videoland reality series, Kimberly has made more television appearances, such as in the fourth VIP season of SBS6 program De Alleskunner, where she finished in 26th place.
