Just like her mother Princess Laurentien, Eloïse also likes to commit to sustainability and she does this by writing a book.
Today Countess Eloïse presented her book ‘Clothes Enough’. She wrote the children’s book – a picture book – for the series ‘Our World’. Eloïse wrote her book about sustainable fashion, specifically about fast fashion. The countess read from her book in Miss Maartje’s class at the Gooise Dalton School in Hilversum. Together with illustrator Noelle Smit, Eloïse entered into a collaboration with the ‘Clean Clothes Campaign’.

What is fast fashion? This concerns cheap clothing that is of inferior quality. This also means that the clothing is produced in developing countries. The clothing is generally not worn for long and is therefore, in short, not durable.

The nice thing is that Eloïse honestly says that she received help from her mother. Together they thought about, for example, the title of the book.

By the way, a children’s book was also presented. This book was written by Giel de Winter. The book ‘Sem’ is about real attention for children and their sense of security, so that children can develop self-confidence. For Eloïse, it is not the first book she has written. She previously wrote the book ‘Doing by Learning’. The book came out over 2 years ago.

The question remains: where would Eloise’s clothing come from? Is it expensive designer clothing, is it fast fashion or is she wearing second-hand clothing here? Update: her clothes are second-hand, as I secretly expected.
Her earrings are from Stylish Roos and are made of stainless steel with a gold-colored layer over it.
