You don’t just have to use a dishwasher tablet in the dishwasher, you can clean many more things with it! You can do all this with it.
Dishwasher tablet for the deep fryer
A deep fryer is easy to clean with a dishwasher tablet, as are several appliances (but we will talk about that in a moment). First make sure that the deep fryer is emptied and remember that the frying fat is not thrown down the sink. Then fill the fryer with water, being careful not to fill it to the brim: the water will start to bubble. Add the tablet to the still cold water and turn on the fryer. You will notice that the fat releases easily, and the pan is as good as new again!
Sweat spots
Did you exercise a lot or were you very nervous? There is a good chance that there will be sweat spots in your clothes. You can also easily remove this with a dishwasher block. Put the clothes with the tablet in the washing machine and you will notice that the stains have become much less. Please note that this only works if the stains have not been in the clothing for long, so do not wait a week! Larger and older stains will never go away completely, but you can avoid them with this life hack.
Washing machine
If we are doing the washing anyway, we can also clean the washing machine straight away. Does it have a scent that is less fresh? There is a good chance that the washing machine contains a soap bacterium, also called grease lice. To solve this, put two plastic-free dishwasher tablets in the soap dish and run a program at a temperature of 90 degrees Celsius. Make sure that you only use the tablets, and not detergent, and that there are no clothes in the drum. Repeat this once a month for optimal results.
Coffee maker and kettle
Do you want to descale your coffee maker or kettle? A dishwasher tablet can also help! You only need a small piece, so crumble some off and put it in the water reservoir. Then fill this reservoir with water and rinse the device thoroughly. Some coffee makers have a rinse or clean function, and you will want to use this. The kettle probably does not have this, in which case just turn it on, just like coffee makers without a rinse function. When the coffee maker or kettle is ready, pour out the dirty water and rinse the reservoir thoroughly with water. Also allow the appliances to be rinsed thoroughly three times with just water, otherwise your cup of coffee or cup of tea will not taste as good.
