It is the series of the moment, The summer I turned pretty. This is the perfect series for beach lovers who are not averse to a love triangle. Belly has spent her entire life spending the summers in the holiday home in the seaside resort of Cousins, together with her brother, mother and the family of her mother’s best friend Susannah. Puberty is good for Belly and she has grown into a beautiful teenager and Susannah’s sons see that too. Conrad and Jeremaih no longer see Belly as their little ‘sister’, but both become interested in the beautiful Belly. Who will she choose or will they end up in a love triangle? We’ve probably all seen the movie ‘Mamma Mia!’ seen, but it should not be missing from this list. A Greek island, sun, sea, beach, love, beautiful people, these films contain everything to get into the summer vibes. What is the movie about again? Sophie lives with her mother Donna on a beautiful Greek island. Sophie is getting married and would like her father to be present on this special day. Just who is her father? By secretly reading her mother’s diaries, Sophie discovers that there are three men who could possibly be her father. She sends all three of them an invitation, without her mother Donna knowing anything about it. This can’t go wrong, right? Have you seen the first part 100 times? Then watch the second part ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!’, this film will also give you summer vibes.
Monte Carlo
Another nice feel-good film, Monte Carlo. Three girls flee their small Texas town and fly to Paris for the summer. This already sounds like a wonderful movie, but it gets better. Grace (Selena Gomez), one of the three girls, is accidentally mistaken for a spoiled British socialite. Instead of telling the truth, they say nothing and live the luxurious life in Paris. Of course this will go wrong at some point…
Outer Banks
Do you feel more like adventure? Then put on the Outer Banks series. This series takes place on the coast of sunny North Carolina. Working locals and wealthy guests live here. John B, Pope, JJ and Kiara form a close group and are working locals. The adventure of their lives begins when they look for John B’s missing father.
