When Phillip isn’t sitting in the seat of a quiz show, he works as a police officer in Berlin. The 31-year-old experiences strange situations in his everyday working life, one of which comes up with the 64,000 euro question. The million dollar candidate is said to have met singer Lena Meyer-Landrut (32) during one of his police operations!
The Who Wants to Be a Millionaire question was: “Who has had a single No. 1 hit in the German charts so far – and that with a debut single?” After the 50:50 joker, Phillip ultimately decided on the Eurovision Song Contest winner and was right. “She’s very nice too, the woman Lena “Meyer-Landrut,” he added surprisingly to his answer. When asked by the showmaster, however, he only came up with the fact that he had met her once during an operation, but it was “nothing bad.”
With her friendly nature Lena will also try to recruit young talent for their team in the upcoming The Voice Kids season. Filming is scheduled to begin this month. In the spring, Álvaro Soler (32), Wincent Weiss (30) and Smudo (55) will also be seen as coaches in the show.
