Since King’s Day 2022, Princess Amalia has been using a stylist. In this blog you can read who it is.
When she is interviewed by Claudia de Breij on the occasion of her eighteenth birthday, Princess Amalia is still very much inspired by her mother when it comes to fashion. Because: “She really knows her stuff.” According to the princess, the queen respects her. “You have to find your own way, she can only give you tips, help you find yourself. Of course, she has her idea of ”that’s how it should be”, but she also has the space to see that it can be done differently.”
A few years have passed and although Máxima is still involved in the appearance of her eldest daughter, Amalia has now hired a stylist. The collaboration started around King’s Day 2022, where she introduced a striped pantsuit by Max Mara in Maastricht.
The stylist, Lizzy Cachel Teubel, used to work with Fred van Leer and dressed stars such as Jeroen van der Boom and his wife. The latter is friends with Eveline van den Bent, Princess Amalia’s personal assistant. The princess and the stylist came into contact with each other through this connection. For public occasions, Lizzy visits the palace, where the princess – under the watchful eye of her mother – tries on the sets.

My favorite looks the two put together? Marina Rinaldi’s hot pink pantsuit is right up there.
Also beautiful: the royal blue dress from Farm Rio.
Mac Duggal’s light blue evening dress.
Blue evening dress from Essentiel Antwerp.
