Duchess Meghan (42) played the helpful paralegal Rachel Zane in the legal series Suits for around seven years. After the American met her future husband Prince Harry (39), she left the show at the end of the seventh season and ended her acting career. The popular series ended in 2019 – but the former colleagues recently celebrated a reunion at the Golden Globes. But why wasn’t Meghan there?
“We have the duchess asked, but we were told that unfortunately she has another commitment,” an insider told OK!. Meghan’s former colleague Gina Torres (54) also revealed that the ensemble is still in contact via group chat. The Californian is but not part of the conversation: “We don’t have her number. We just don’t have them.”
Last year it was announced that a spin-off of “Suits“is being planned.”[Die neue Staffel] will have the same energy and the same good-looking people as the original,” announced Universal producer Beatrice Springborn. It is currently unknown whether Meghan will be back in front of the camera for her old series.
