For example, they explain that the older we get, the more difficulty your body has in breaking down alcohol. It ensures that the substance ‘acetaldehyde’ remains in our body. And that substance is the cause of your headache and nausea.

Delayed degradation
Oh, and we have more bad news. The delayed breakdown process of alcohol also causes you to store more fat, on top of the fat that you already store naturally. Result? This fat cannot absorb the alcohol, so it remains in your blood for much longer. Have you ever woken up and felt like you were still drunk? So that’s because of this. And so it only gets worse.
