The proud mother shares a series of sweet snaps of her eldest child.
It may sound cliché, but when you have children, time seems to pass even faster. And Princess Eugenie also experiences this, because her eldest son August turned three years old last Friday. In honor of his birthday, the mother of two shared some sweet snaps on her Instagram account.

In the first photo we see a happy, smiling August sitting on the floor against a wall with his mother Eugenie. The couple is bundled up, wrapped in warm coats and with woolen hats on their heads. There are a pair of cute yellow rain boots on August’s feet. It looks like mother and son are having a great time together.

“Happy third birthday our dearest Augie,” reads the caption below the photos. “(…) giggling with you forever.” Too cute!
Family snapshots
In the other photo we see August cuddling his little brother Ernest while an apparently overjoyed Princess Eugenie holds her offspring in her arms. The royal also shares a snapshot of her son and herself during a family outing. She is holding August with one hand, and she has a hot dog in the other. So you see, even princesses don’t turn down a little fast food from time to time!
Proud grandmother and active member of the social media platform, Sarah Ferguson, could of course not stay behind with her congratulations. She also wished her grandson a happy birthday via Instagram. Sarah shared Eugenie’s post on her Instagram Stories and wrote: “Congratulations my beautiful Auggie. I love you so much #proudgrandma.”
Family life
This is certainly not the first time that the princess has given us an insight into family life with her two boys. After she and hubby Jack Brooksbank welcomed their first son in February 2021, Eugenie shared some sweet snaps from her son’s christening a while later. The special thing about this baptism was that August was baptized at the same time as another great-grandson of the Queen: Lucas Tindall.
And a few months ago she shared another rare family snapshot via Instagram. It was the first photo we saw of the family of four together, but that wasn’t the most striking thing about the image. Because in this photo, the royal toddler August looked like the daughter of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan: Lilibet!
