Sarah Ferguson shares inspiring message about the importance of health

“I want to remind everyone who reads this to take care of yourself.”

Just three weeks after the news that Sarah Ferguson had been declared cured of breast cancer, she was diagnosed with skin cancer. Last weekend was World Health Day, where Sarah reminds others – through an inspiring message – not to ‘skip or postpone health checks’.

World Health Day

In celebration of World Health Day, Fergie dressed completely in blue and then appeared in front of the camera. Sarah recently shared the photo on her Instagram. In the caption she shares an important message for her followers.

“Today, on World Health Day, I want to remind everyone reading this to take care of yourself,” she begins her post. ”Consider your state of mind and check your body. Go to routine checks. Take that walk. Read a book. Your body and mind come first. Make sure you show them love.”

Awareness

It is not the first time that Sarah has committed herself to creating more awareness among her followers. During Breast Cancer Awareness earlier this year, she also shared a message about the importance of being alert when it comes to your health.

“It was a busy 2023 and I almost postponed my mammogram, but my sister Jane convinced me to go,” she said in the message, among others. “After having a mastectomy and reconstruction, all I could do was hope that I had nothing. That is why the new diagnosis of skin cancer came as a shock.”

Fortunately, she is in the best hands and says she is feeling positive thanks to the support of her family. “Days can make the difference between life and death, so please don’t skip or delay your health checks. Urge your loved ones to go to theirs too.”
