If you think we have already seen all of Princess Margriet’s recycled gala dresses, you are wrong. In this blog we will continue at the same pace.
At the Peter Stuyvesant Ball in 2016 in New York, Princess Margriet wore a dark green off-the-shoulder gala gown. Pieter, in turn, wears a green velvet tuxedo.
The following year, Princess Margriet wore the dress again during the annual gala dinner for the members of the Diplomatic Corps. It’s wonderful that we have a number of gala moments with Princess Margriet every year.
Budget Day 2012. Princess Margriet wears a gray jaquard floral dress made of Valentino fabric. The dress was designed by Claar Crul.
In 2013, the dress made a comeback during the thanksgiving dinner in the Rijksmuseum for Queen Beatrix on April 29. In addition, Margriet appeared in the dress at the Peter Stuyvesant ball in 2015.
Queen’s Day 2011. Princess Margriet wears a cyclamen-colored jacket with white dots on a cyclamen-colored skirt.
Princess Margriet will confirm that the jacket can also be worn with a white skirt when the MS Rotterdam enters the port of Rotterdam for the 100th time.
During a thank you party for Princess Beatrix in Ahoy Rotterdam, Princess Margriet wears a red dress with lace top and purple accents.
Princess Margriet will also be present at the dinner for the Diplomatic Corps in 2016. Here we see the red/purple gala dress again.
Upon arrival at Noordeinde Palace for the gala dinner of the Diplomatic Corps 2019, Princess Margriet must change into her gala outfit. We see Margriet here with a blue cardigan with animal print.
The following year, Princess Margriet visits the Dutch team for the Invictus Games. Here we see the same cardigan returning. Now with a matching scarf and a black skirt.
During the church wedding of Prince Pieter-Christiaan and Princess Anita, Princess Margriet wore this beautiful pink suit.
We saw the suit in photos released in 2006.
In 2020, Princess Margriet was present at the opening of a new part of the Apenheul. She wore the jacket you see in the photo below.
Margriet also wore this jacket when she was guest editor-in-chief for Margriet magazine.
