Make your own apple pie
Although this is not a very complicated cake to make, one is quite different from the other. If you just search for recipes you will see that there are many different ways to make it. Ingredients
- 230 grams of butter
- 160 grams of caster sugar
- 3.5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 300 grams of flour
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams of raisins
- 8 Jonagold apples
- 4 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla-flavored sugar
- Dark rum
- Powdered sugar
- Salty
This is how you make the apple pie
- Take a springform pan of about 24 centimeters and grease it. Then dust the mold with flour.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Mix the butter with the caster sugar and half a teaspoon of cinnamon. Now add the flour and 1 egg and mix into a nice smooth dough. Then let it rest for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Then roll out 2/3 of the dough and line the springform pan. Then spread the breadcrumbs and put it back in the refrigerator to rest.
- The raisins in a layer of rum.
- Remove the peel from the apples and then cut them into wedges to make thin slices.
- Now strain the raisins and mix them together with the apple pieces, sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon.
- Remove the springform pan from the refrigerator and pour the filling into it. Roll out the remaining dough and cover the top with it.
- Beat the remaining egg and brush the apple pie with it.
- Now bake the apple pie for 60 minutes in a preheated oven.
- Let the apple pie cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
