Queen Máxima will visit the Republic of the Philippines from Monday evening 20 to Thursday 23 May as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA). The visit is about promoting financial inclusion and the theme of financial health.

It is now standard practice what we see on the first day of a UN trip: a black trouser suit and flat shoes. This time Máxima opted for a black blazer that also served during UN trips to Bangladesh (2019), Ivory Coast (2022), Senegal (2022) and Colombia (2024). Unfortunately, the label is not (yet) outdated.
