Lena Semenova, known for her participation in reality shows such as Real Girls in the Jungle and Ex on the Beach, recently shared her story in the documentary Chasing Beauty, which is currently being broadcast in Belgium. In the documentary, Lena openly talks about her experience with cosmetic procedures and why she now regrets it.
Two Brazilian Butt Lifts
After her participation in Ex on the Beach, the reality star was flooded with offers from plastic surgeons. And what did she do? She went for it. Two Brazilian Butt Lifts later, she was left with an ass that Kim K would be jealous of. But was she happy with it? At first yes, but that joy soon disappeared. “When I went shopping, everything was too tight. It just looked ordinary. People increasingly said that my figure was wrong. They were right, although I couldn’t admit it at first.”
The struggle to get her body back
Lena desperately tried to reverse the Brazilian Butt Lift, but unfortunately was unsuccessful. “The second doctor really ruined me,” she says. “I could no longer walk normally, because my body was so out of proportion. And lying on my back? I could also forget that with that pumped up ass.”
Ugly scars
But the worst of all? One of the most painful aspects for the reality star is that she influenced her mother to undergo surgery with the same surgeon. This operation has left her mother with ugly scars, making Lena’s mother ashamed and afraid to wear short-sleeved shirts.
Instagram is the culprit
Lena admits that social media, especially Instagram, played a big role in her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery. The perfect bodies she saw on the platform caused a feeling of insecurity. “If I could take it back, I would never have done it,” she says honestly. “My body is no longer what it was before, it is no longer flexible. My build has also really changed a lot.”
Warning from Lena
Although Lena said she had thought carefully about the operations at the time and researched the risks, she had not taken into account the fact that her entire physique could change. “It was mainly that I wanted to fill out my hips.” Now she wants to warn others about the consequences of ill-considered choices when it comes to cosmetic procedures, in the hope that they don’t make the same mistakes she did.
