She is making serious accusations! June Shannon’s (44) daughter Anna Cardwell (✝29) died in December as a result of cancer. Since then, Mama June has been fighting with her daughter’s ex for custody of her two daughters. While Kaitlyn, the older of the two, has been living with her grandmother since her mother died, her sister Kylee is growing up with her father Michael. He also wants custody of Kaitlyn. Now June is making serious accusations against Michael!
As June tells The Sun, her daughter told her the day before her death that Kaitlyn shouldn’t grow up with her ex-husband. Therefore, she follows her daughter’s wishes and wants to fight for custody of her granddaughter until the end. The TV celebrity also makes serious allegations against Michael: “He has no right to Kaitlyn. The matter with Michael is about money and with Kaitlyn it shouldn’t be about money. Kaitlyn wants to be raised by her biological family.”
However, Michael’s lawyer paints a different picture to the newspaper. “I have heard nothing to that effect. I have seen no documentation of Ms. Cardwell’s final wishes,” he said in a statement. Michael previously justified the application for custody by saying that he had “in the past assumed a permanent, clear, committed and responsible parental role” for the eleven-year-old. According to him, Anna supported this relationship.
