The reality star shares in a message how she ended up on a rollercoaster of emotions after Ex on the Beach. She describes the aftermath of the program as a “completely new world.” Imke honestly admits that she went through a difficult time before participating in the program. Her participation in Ex on the Beach was therefore an impulsive decision.
Looking for a thrill
This impulsive choice has had a huge impact on her life. Despite her growing fame, she did not experience her participation as only positive. “When I was at home, I often found myself looking for a rush,” she wrote in the photo’s caption.
Attention
The blonde says that she often did things to get attention. “Also in the field of fillers and botox. Negative attention is also attention, I thought at the time.”
‘Bye bye, fat lips’
Now, after years, Imke beams with joy because she is herself again. “A year ago I decided to have all my fillers removed. Bye bye, plump lips and a sprayed-on face,” she shares enthusiastically. And to this day she has no regrets. “I am so grateful that I am now living life ‘sober’ again and have found myself again.” Imke is still not afraid of a little Botox here and there, but not like she used to. “Now I think about it carefully and don’t just inject. I take weeks to decide and ask my family for advice.”
‘There is not always a way back’
Imke shares this message to make her followers aware so that they do not make the same mistakes. “A cosmetic procedure can always go wrong and there is not always a way back.”
