Tomorrow summer officially starts, and we’re celebrating in style with one of the delicious new flavors from Ben & Jerry’s. The legendary ice cream brand introduces the delicious Spectacu-love, a crispy match made in cookie heaven. These pints are full of sweet ice cream with gingerbread, caramel cinnamon cookies, and caramel cinnamon swirls.
Moreover, there is the Sunny Honey Home, a variation with a very special edge. This wonderful taste sensation was created together with entrepreneurs with a refugee background. Proceeds from this unique flavor will go to refugee-led start-ups. Sunny Honey Home consists of lemon flavored ice cream, with honey caramel sauce and lemon flavored cookie pieces. Yummm!

Enjoy the sun on a Rotterdam terrace
Rotterdam has had a new food court since January! Station Bergweg is a collective of twelve Rotterdam catering entrepreneurs and located in the old station on Bergweg, under the former Hofplein line. The Dakbar, a 300 square meter terrace on the monumental railway viaduct, recently opened on top of Bergweg Station.

At this unique location you can enjoy a snack and a drink, all kinds of events, and live music. Nice detail: in 2025 the viaduct will be transformed into the longest city park in the Netherlands and the terrace will become part of it.

This weekend you can indulge your vintage fashion and culture-loving heart in Groningen. The Market of the North takes place on the sugar site. Here you can feast your eyes on the three-hectare festival site, and enjoy the many stalls offering handmade, local, organic, vintage, vinyl or other creative products. Or settle down on the Biergarten terrace!
