Ian Somerhalder (45) is apparently quitting Hollywood. The American became famous all over the world with his leading role as Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries. But in recent years things have become very quiet around the Hollywood star. Since then, he has enjoyed a relaxed life on a farm with his wife Nikki Reed (35) and their two children. Will return to the big screen Ian Not anymore for the time being, as he now reveals!
In an interview with E! News explains Ian now: “I love making films, I’ve just done it for so long. We’ve had an incredible run.” But apparently he wants to focus entirely on his family from now on. But the 45-year-old will always be grateful for his career. “I love what I’ve been doing for a long time,” he concludes.
Away from Hollywood Ian and Nikki built something of their own and they couldn’t be happier about it. “We produce most of our food ourselves, I live in my cowboy boots,” the actor enthused a few weeks ago with great pride. He and his sweetheart have now become real “farm people”.
