For an evening of laughter you have to buy a ticket for Henry. You probably remember him from the hit series De Luizen Moeder, but he also puts on the funniest performances in the theater. He sings, acts characters, is honest, recognizable and acts crazy. Everything you expect from a good comedian. He takes you back to his childhood in Brabant, tells about the love of his life Jelka van Houten and about his (step-)children. You can’t go wrong with a Henry van Loon performance.
Jochem Myjer
Who doesn’t know him? Jochem Myjer has been playing the funniest proposals for young and old audiences for more than twenty years. No comedian has the same style as Jochem. He bounces around the stage making one joke after another. His characters are always a source of laughter, as is their fast way of talking. An evening at Jochem Myjer is not only fun with friends, but with the whole family.
Yentl and de Boer
This comedic female duo is also worth a visit. Yentl Schieman and Christine de Boer have been at the top of the Dutch cabaret top for some time. The two met each other at the Amsterdam Theater & Kleinkunstacademie. Since their successful graduate program in 2009, they have been creating great shows for years. What makes them so unique? Their funny and musical songs will definitely make you laugh. Recommended!
Patrick Laureij
Rotterdammer Patrick Laureij has a lot of laughs on his hands. This comedian and stand-up comedian is a real talent. He won the Neerlands Hoop prize and the Camerettenfestival. With his Rotterdam accent and humor he charms everyone. Coarse, but not too coarse. Hard, but not too hard. He knows how to find a good balance and that is appreciated. You will certainly laugh out loud with Patrick Laureij.
Brigitte Kaandorp
Brigitte Kaandorp should not be missing from this list. Everyone has laughed out loud at a funny video of her from a performance. How about ‘I have a very hard life’ or ‘To the toilet / 2theloo’? Brigitte is not performing at the moment, but we will just wait patiently and watch the hilarious images online in the meantime.
