The ‘great mystery’ surrounding Princess Kate is keeping people busy. Although she has been able to recover from her surgery in relative privacy so far, some photos of Her Highness have since been leaked. However, the images are not really successful in calming people’s minds…

Princess Catherine went under the knife in mid-January and we can only expect her to appear in public again around Easter, that much is clear. But what exactly is going on with the Princess of Wales? The Firm remains tight-lipped about this.
Despite (or because of) this silence from Kensinton Palace, there is plenty of speculation about Kate’s status by tabloid media and royalty watchers on social media. Last night, for the first time since Her Highness disappeared from the spotlight, photos of her appeared on TMZ, among others.

The footage shows Kate sitting next to mother Carole Middleton in the car – the duo were reportedly on their way to pick up the Wales offspring from school. The princess goes for a natural look with large sunglasses on her nose. Very nice against the early British spring sun, and against sneaky paparazzi who manage to take a picture of you.
Conspiracies
TMZ writes with the images: “Good to see Kate here… now we all know she is alive and well!” In recent weeks, wilder conspiracy theories have been circulating about Kate’s absence. Spanish journalist Concha Calleja added fuel to the fire. She claimed in her TV program that Kate’s condition was more serious than was made known. Calleja claimed to have inside information indicating that Kate’s condition was concerning and she had to be placed in a medically induced coma due to post-surgery complications. Excuse me?
Despite fierce opposition from Buckingham Palace, the rumors have increasingly taken on a life of their own. “You’re telling me that Kate Middleton – the same woman who posed as a supermodel outside the hospital just hours after giving birth – suddenly needs months of recovery before showing her face? And the British press now magically respects her privacy? This is not correct,” said a message on X (formerly Twitter).
However, the photos have not succeeded in calming all speculation. There are now new theories going around that the lady in the snapshots is simply not Kate. Well… it’s clearly not really a Kate in full regalia, but we all have days when we don’t dress up in top-chic style, nun?
We will patiently wait until Kate is completely back to normal and shows herself in public – hopefully Her Highness can put an end to all the wild rumors.
