Experts reveal: does a facial roller really work?

Does it really work?

Whether the tool really helps has not yet been clinically proven. “All kinds of tools and lasers will do their best, but there comes a point when it just doesn’t work,” says celebrity cosmetologist Renée Rouleau. ‘As you get older, the muscles in your face become weaker, that’s just reality. Jade rollers cannot reach those muscles in a targeted manner enough to strengthen them.’

Although he does not believe that the roller will make your wrinkles and bags disappear like snow in the sun, he does not think the gadget is completely unnecessary. According to him, the main function of the roller is to massage your face and that would also have advantages. ‘A facial massage is good for blood circulation and provides new nutrients for the skin cells. I am a big supporter of your blood circulation booster, especially as you get older.’ The techniques can relax the facial muscles and provide a cooling sensation on the skin, and the massage can have a firming effect over time.
