It may be soon! Emma Stone (35) has already played many iconic roles: the actress embodied one of her most famous characters in the Disney film adaptation “Cruella”. The “La La Land” actress took on the role of villain Cruella de Vil in the film over two years ago. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for a continuation of the story: Emma has now given an update about a sequel to “Cruella”!
When asked when the sequel will be filmed, the 32-year-old tells Variety: “Tell me. Hopefully sooner than later!” Already a month after the official theatrical release Disney the “Cruella” sequel confirmed. To date, however, the “Easy A” star has not seen a solid script. Basically, she would like to slip into the role of antagonist again. “That was a lot of fun back then! She’s a blast,” emphasizes the Hollywood star.
Emma’s latest film “Poor Things” will be released in German cinemas on December 18th. The film is a modern twist on the Frankenstein story. In it she plays a very unusual role: a grown woman with the brain of a small child. She has already been nominated for several awards for her performance.
