Is A$AP Rocky (35) really innocent? The rapper currently has to answer in court. His former friend A$AP Relli claimed that he attacked him in a restaurant and even threatened him with a gun. A video of the incident was enough for the court to charge the musician. But A$AP’s lawyer now puts the allegations in a completely different light and emphasizes that his client is innocent!
A$AP is represented by celebrity lawyer Joe Tacopina, who now has harsh words for A$AP Relli. Court documents obtained by Radar Online include a statement from the lawyer stressing that the lawsuit is not justified. He is therefore also requesting that the court reject it. “Rocky didn’t commit a crime. It was an extortion attempt by a former employee who threatened to make false accusations if Rocky didn’t pay,” Joe explains, referring to Relli’s accusations.
A$AP has so far kept a low profile in court. As The Mirror reports, Rihanna’s (35) partner is said to have said little in the room. He only spoke out to mention his name and recognize his rights. However, his lawyer was confident that the trial would be decided in his client’s favor – and pleaded not guilty. The verdict has not yet been made.
