In early August, Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Rajwa became parents of their first child, Iman. And that the prince is completely in his element as a father, is evident from a beautiful new photo that he shared.
Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa have been on cloud nine since the birth of their daughter Princess Iman. High time for the new father to delight his followers with a new picture of him and the little one!
Hussein and Iman
“With my precious one,” the Crown Prince writes on his Instagram. He also shares a sweet snapshot of him holding his newborn daughter in his arms. Little Iman is wearing a cute pink outfit and matching hat, decorated with giraffes. Hussein himself can be seen in a military uniform. And one thing is clear: the fatherly love is radiating from him!

New (grand)parents
After a beautiful royal wedding last year and some ultra-glamorous snaps of the heavily pregnant princess, the time had finally come earlier this month! On August 3, Princess Rajwa gave birth to their daughter. “We are extremely grateful for the smooth birth of our daughter and for the health of my beloved wife, Rajwa,” Hussein said at the time. “Our sincere thanks to our family and the Jordanian people for their kind wishes, which touched us deeply during these special moments.” Ahw!
The birth of little Princess Iman also means that King Abdullah and Queen Rania have become grandparents in one fell swoop. Queen Rania already shared a short message about the birth of her granddaughter via social media. “Congratulations Hussein and Rajwa, and may God fill your lives with blessings and happiness,” it read, among other things. Sweet! We dare to bet that the proud grandmother cannot contain her happiness with this youngest royal offspring.
Name Iman
Although Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa have not yet confirmed the meaning behind their daughter’s name, it seems likely that they were inspired by their family. Hussein’s younger sister also bears the name Iman. It is an Arabic name that means “faith” or “belief.”
