Earlier this week, Monica Geuze confirmed her relationship with her new flame, James Lawrence. Although the two have only just gotten together, their relationship is becoming increasingly serious in a short time. In the podcast Geuze & Gorgels, Monica says that she sees herself marrying James.
‘I am very much in love’
A while ago Monica confirmed that she is in a relationship. “I can tell you a lot about it. I’m just very in love. So I’m completely on such a pink cloud and only with him all the time,” she said in the podcast.
Never been so in love before
Although Monica has had several relationships, she confidently says that she has “never felt so confident” about one of her boyfriends. “Sure I’ve been in love before, but I haven’t been in love like this.” Her bestie Kaj confirms this. “You’re going to marry this one later, we can already see that,” he says. “Yes, I’m sure,” Monica answers firmly. “That’s right as hell.”
Speech
Kaj also says that he would like to give a hilarious speech at her wedding about her exes, including Lil Kleine, Lars Veldwijk and Robbert Kroese. “It would be funny, given our long friendship and history. And when you finally find your dream partner and get married, the past will be closed in a beautiful way. I think there is something special about that.” Kaj adds that he thinks James is ‘a great guy’.
Cooking and binge watching series
Monica completely agrees and notes that James also speaks Dutch quite well. Together they enjoy ‘Dutch nonsense’ on TV and streaming services. Moreover, Monica is very happy with James’s cooking skills, because she says he can cook deliciously. Lucky girl!
