But this year in particular, the pic is being hotly debated: a Photoshop glitch seems to have crept in. The unwanted attention surrounding the photo is said to be extremely uncomfortable for Kate and William!
As an insider tells Us Weekly, the heir to the British throne and his loved one are said to be “embarrassed” by the comments on their picture. In addition, they were “just as shocked as everyone else” about the faux pas and the associated online reactions. However, William and Kate have not yet commented on the editing error.
Shortly after the family of five published their Christmas greeting, wild discussions broke out online: “There’s a leg missing from the picture! How could the photographer not notice that?” asked a stunned user on Instagram. “Does anyone know why Prince Louis is missing a finger?” another wants to know.
