5 methods that are easier and faster.
Ironing: one person hates it, while the other stands behind the ironing board humming. Fortunately for those who can’t use an iron, there are several methods that can easily get your clothes wrinkle-free.
1. Tennis ball
We’ll kick off the list with a rather unconventional method: throw a tennis ball into the washing machine or dryer with your laundry. You will see that your clothes and bedding will emerge lemon fresh and wrinkle-free. However, there is a small caveat to this hack, because once the fabric cools, the wrinkles return to the fabric. So, quick action is required! Remove your laundry immediately when the machine indicates it is ready and hang/put it away.
2. Kettle
As you probably know, steam can ensure that the wrinkles disappear from your blouse or trousers like snow in the sun. To create steam, you can use the kettle or a pan of boiling hot water. Hold your garment tightly above the rising steam and voilà , the wrinkles will be ironed out in no time. Small warning in advance: be careful with the heat released by the steam.
3. Bathroom
You can also use the steam released when showering or taking a bath as a kind of natural wrinkle remover. Hang the item of clothing you want to wear on a clothes hanger in the bathroom and take a nice shower. The success of this method does depend on how much steam is actually released. The following applies: the warmer, the better!
4. Hair dryer
The hair dryer also appears to be a multi-purpose tool. In addition to drying your hair, you can also use it to make your clothes wrinkle-free. It is important to keep a safe distance of approximately five to ten centimeters between the hair dryer and the garment. This trick also works best when the laundry is still a little damp; If necessary, you can spray it lightly with a plant sprayer. What a simple hairdryer can be good for!
5. Hair straightener
The hair straightener is not only a great tool for your hair, but also a handy alternative for ironing without using a traditional iron. While this method may not be ideal for smoothing your bedding, it is perfect for neatening pants or smoothing shirt sleeves. Make sure that you do not overheat the hair straightener and that – just like with a regular iron – you remove the plug from the socket after use.
