The mourning for James Kottak (61) is big. On Tuesday evening it was announced that the Scorpions’ long-time drummer had died. He was only 61 years old. The American native had been on stage with the German band for 20 years until he finally left the group in 2016. Dedicate his former colleagues James touching words of farewell after his death.
The band shares information about their frontman via Instagram Klaus Meine on Tuesday evening a photo of her former colleague. It says: “James was a wonderful person, a great musician and loving family man. He was our ‘brother from another mother’ and will be missed very much.” Finally, the musicians write: “Rock ‘n’ Roll forever. Rest in peace, James!”
Exact details about James‘Deaths are not yet known. Only the place of his death is clear – the drummer died in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. No information has yet been released about the cause of death.
