Now that the rumor mills are working overtime about the fact that Princess Kate was spotted for the first time after her abdominal surgery last Wednesday, there are a number of conspiracy theories going around. Prince William has now responded to all the speculation surrounding his wife, People reports.
Operation
Princess Catherine went under the knife in mid-January and we can only expect her to appear in public again around Easter, that much is clear. But what exactly is going on with the Princess of Wales? The Firm remains tight-lipped about this.
Despite (or because of) this silence from Kensington Palace, there is plenty of speculation about Kate’s status by tabloid media and royalty watchers on social media. Earlier this week, photos of her appeared on TMZ, among others, for the first time since the highness disappeared from the spotlight.
Conspiracies
TMZ captioned the images: “Good to see Kate here…now we all know she is alive and well!” In recent weeks, wilder conspiracy theories have been circulating about Kate’s absence. Spanish journalist Concha Calleja added fuel to the fire. She claimed in her TV program that Kate’s condition was more serious than was made known. Calleja claimed to have inside information indicating that Kate’s condition was concerning and she had to be placed in a medically induced coma due to post-surgery complications. Excuse me?
Will’s response
William has also seen the conspiracy theories and has responded to them through his spokesperson. “The prince’s focus is on his work and not on social media.” Short and sweet, right? So we can conclude from this that the theories going around are not correct.
The whole fuss surrounding Kate started after it was never revealed why the princess had to have surgery on her stomach. Anyway, let’s hope Kate feels like her old self again soon. And, those rumors? We can put an end to that now!
