In an interview with People, the 51-year-old speaks openly about the illness. During her menopause, she struggled with severe chest pain and gained a lot of weight. After feeling a lump, she went to her doctor – breast cancer was finally diagnosed through a mammogram and several biopsies. “I can definitely feel it. It’s there. It needs to be removed,” explains Nicole.
The Californian is now facing an operation – followed by chemotherapy and radiation. This is already the third cancer shock for the family: Both Nicole’s Both her father and her mother had struggled with skin and colon cancer.
