She knows what’s wrong! Kate Hudson (44) is an actress best known for her appearances in so-called rom-coms, i.e. romantic comedies. Among other things, she collected money through films such as “Bride Wars”, “How do I get rid of him – in 10 days?” or “Foreign Fishing” experiences with the genre. And that’s why she knows exactly what’s missing from today’s romantic comedies: Kate misses the men in rom-coms.
A guest on “The View” remembers Kate of her film “How do I get rid of him – in 10 days?”, because it celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. She not only emphasizes how much fun she has making films of this kind, but also what she thinks is missing today. “It’s hard to get male film stars to do romantic films and I think that’s an important part of the equation,” explains the 44-year-old. The Hollywood star believes that more action heroes should be willing to make a romantic film and adds with a wink: “As long as we can get more Marvel stars to say: ‘Hey, come on, I’ll do a romantic comedy!'”
As is well known, there is a lot of smooching in romantic comedies. In December 2022, however, Kate revealed that her best movie kiss wasn’t with a male colleague – Liv Tyler (46) had the best smooch in the film “Dr. T And The Women”! “She has the softest lips,” recalled Kate to Vanity Fair.
