![Did the Frogmore expulsion not bother Duchess Meghan at all?](https://content4.promiflash.de/article-images/video_480/herzogin-meghan-guckt-abwesend-mit-einem-hut-auf-dem-kopf-2.jpg)
She had a different expectation of life as a royal! Duchess Meghan (42) and her husband Prince Harry (39) resigned from their duties as working royals two years after their royal wedding and emigrated to the USA. Nevertheless, they retained their residence in Great Britain – Frogmore Cottage. But after they repeatedly fired shots at the British royal family, Harry’s father threw King Charles III. (75) the two of them are finally out. Did Meghan really have a problem with the Frogmore expulsion?
Royal expert Tom Bower now claims, according to OK!, that living at Frogmore Cottage was a “prison sentence” for the 42-year-old. “When she got together with Harry, she didn’t realize that he didn’t have much money and wouldn’t live in a palace. Meghan never wanted to live in a small house in England,” said Tom.
But Meghan herself also made it seem in her Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan” that she was disappointed with her first royal residence. “Kensington Palace sounds very regal, of course, and it does, it has ‘palace’ in the name. But Nottingham Cottage was so small. People thought we lived in a palace, and we did. Well, a cottage in a palace,” reports the former Suits actress. Well, didn’t Meghan think that herself?
