Jens Lehmann (54) has to pay. This spring, the former national goalkeeper got into an argument with his neighbor. He is said to have sawed the roof beams of his carport with a chainsaw so that he could have an unhindered view of Lake Starnberg. The dispute went to court at the beginning of December and a final verdict has now been reached: Jens actually has to pay a heavy fine.
As Bild reports, the Starnberg district court ruled in favor of the neighbor today. According to the ruling, Jens now pay a fine of 210 daily rates of 2,000 euros each – that’s a total of around 420,000 euros. The incident was a case of property damage. He was also charged with insult and attempted fraud in another case: Jens Additionally, he had to answer for not paying the parking garage fees in 2021 and 2022 parking garage fees.
The former footballer doesn’t seem to have much luck this year. At the beginning of the year he had already gotten into a confrontation with the police. Eyewitnesses had reported to the newspaper that they could see him talking to officials who were supposed to have measured his black Porsche. Apparently the reason was an accident with another Porsche driver.
