Carole Middleton has Cinderella moment at Royal Ascot

Only a glass slipper was missing!

Day two of the Royal Ascot took place yesterday, with plenty of royals, wealthy equestrian fans and other partygoers in attendance. There was a special fairytale moment for Carole Middleton!

Royal Ascot

Heroes on horseback, partygoers placing bets, a whole bunch of hats, and of course a whole bunch of royals – that’s Royal Ascot in its own right. Every year Ascot Racecourse is the center of attention for equestrian fans and royalty watchers alike.

This year again the event guarantees several atmospheric snapshots and beautiful moments. On day one we saw how King Charles made a sweet gesture to his grieving grandniece Lady Gabriella Kingston by inviting her to the traditional Carriage Procession.

Parents in law

Yesterday the family ties became clearly visible again. This time Michael and Carole Middleton were also present! Although they did not participate in the Royal Procession beforehand, they were spotted during the afternoon chatting with their royal in-laws.

Plus, one particularly sweet moment between Prince William and his mother-in-law turned heads.

Of course, any glamor cat can tell you that walking through the grass in your stilettos is not an easy task. Carole experienced this firsthand when, like a true Cinderella, she almost lost her pump on the lawn of the racecourse. Fortunately, there was Prince William, who immediately offered Princess Catherine’s mother a helping hand.

Golden tip: maybe Carole can borrow those handy heel protectors that Zara Tindall was recently spotted with?

Stylish

In addition to this fairytale moment, there was of course plenty of regal glamour. King Charles was not present this time, but Queen Camilla was prominently present. In addition, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie, and Mike and Zara Tindall attended the second day of the five-day event. Of course, all in flowy, Ascot-worthy outfits!

Nice detail: if Princess Beatrice’s dress looks very familiar to you – that’s true! Last weekend, none other than the Duchess of Edinburgh wore exactly the same Zimmermann gown during Garter Day.

We understand that this colorful item is popular with the Windsor ladies. Who knows: will this dress be the royal must-have of the summer? We’ll definitely add it to our wishlist…
