King Felipe and Queen Letizia, together with their daughters, celebrated the 10th anniversary of King Felipe’s reign yesterday.
The family first attended the solemn relief of the royal guard. Various awards were also presented by the king.
The king and queen received various state representatives and people from society for lunch. The Princess of Asturias and Infanta Doña Sofía met with young people and visited a royal exhibition.
Leonor and Sofia snuck in at lunch and gave a short surprise speech to thank their parents. With a few short words they showed their gratitude to their parents. They also reaffirmed their commitment to the monarchy. The king was visibly moved.
Many Spaniards had gathered at the Plaza de Oriente, where Felipe, Letizia, Leonor and Sofia then listened to a piece of music composed especially for Felipe and Letizia. The royal guard also offered a concert. A video projection was shown on the facade of the Royal Palace, in addition to the exhibition “Felipe IV 2014 – 2024”.
Fashion Letizia
At the lunch, Queen Letizia wore a blue skirt with a matching blue top from Maksu Grace.
During the evening program, Letizia was seen in a champagne-colored pleated skirt by Massimo Dutti, combined with a black top.

Leonor wore a red crepe trouser suit from Roberto Verino during the lunch, the presentation of the awards and the changing of the guard.
During the evening program we saw her in a top with black lace trim and spaghetti straps, on a matching skirt. Both items come from the Sfera label.
Fashion Sofia
Infanta Sofia, the younger of the two princesses, wore a dark blue jumpsuit – with bright colors incorporated into the top – by Cardie Ari.
In the evening she wore a white top from Claudie Pierlot, with matching trousers.
