Princess Mabel’s speech

During the Amsterdam Dinner, Princess Mabel presented the Amsterdam Dinner Award to Martha and Max, daughter and son of the late professor Joep Lange. At the forefront of the fight against HIV and AIDS, he has conducted groundbreaking research to combat the virus and improve global access to quality healthcare. In recognition of Joep’s impressive work and invaluable contribution to healthcare, the Amsterdam Dinner Award was presented to him in 2024, exactly ten years after his tragic death.
